MARTA NextGen Bus Network

MARTA host several public and virtual meetings for public opinions

Atlanta, Georgia – The Atlanta metropolitan community is home to the 9th largest transportation system in the United States and the largest in the southeast. Originally just serving the DeKalb and Fulton Counties of Atlanta for the past 40 years, in recent years MARTA has begun servicing the south metropolitan area of Clayton County.

Now with three counties within its transportation network, MARTA is preparing to introduce a new bus operation that they are labeling, “NextGen Bus Network.” This network will consist of various old and new modes of transportation that MARTA will be seeking opinions on.

MARTA will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual meetings to be able to interact and share with the general public, patrons, and stakeholders about their new transportation network.

Beginning Monday, January 27th, and continuing through February 8th, there will be a number of public meetings to be a part of.

Please visit MARTA NextGen Bus Network to learn more about the new bus transportation network and attending a meeting.
