Vick was named as the head football coach of the Norfolk State University Spartans
Norfolk, Virginia – Just a few days ago Michael Vick was talking to both Sacramento State and Norfolk State about taking over one of their football programs and becoming head coach. Now it has been announced that Norfolk State University has hired Vick as their head coach.
Vick is original from the Newport News area which is less than an hour away from Norfolk. He college football at Virigina Tech for two years from 1998-2000 before getting drafted by the Atlanta Falcons as the 2001 #1 pick.
Norfolk State University is a public Historical Black College Univerity (HBCU).
