Being the life of the party comes to an end

After over 40 years of being the life of the party, Party City is calling it quits. CEO Barry Litwin held a surprise meeting with the corporate staff and informed them that Friday was their last day of employment.

Litwin shared with staff, “It’s really important for you to know that we’ve done everything possible that we could to try to avoid this outcome. Unfortunately, it’s necessary to commence a winddown process immediately.”

Stores and staff across the country will continue to operate until February 28th.
