Los Angeles, California – Quincy Jones was the musician that was behind the success of so many other artists and their projects: Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Will Smith, Steven Spielberg, Tamia, Tevin Campbell, and more.

A career in entertainment that spanned over 70 years. Jones was a producer, arranger, writer, musician, composer and entrepreneur. Jones got his start in the 1950s as a jazz composer. Over the years Jones moved on to help produce and arrange in various of other genres. Jackson would later be responsible for the soundtracks to the Wiz, The Color Purple and more.

Jones is perhaps best known for his work with Michael Jackson. As the producer of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the album sold more than 32 million and became the bestselling album of all time.
