Over the years Jones moved on to help produce and arrange in various of other genres. Jackson would later be responsible for the soundtracks to the Wiz, The Color Purple and more.
Jones is perhaps best known for his work with Michael Jackson. As the producer of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller,” the album sold more than 32 million and became the bestselling album of all time.
