Former Trump advisor sentenced to four months in prison

Steve Bannon, the former White House strategist, and President Trump’s advisor have been sentenced to four months in prison for contempt of congress.

Washington, D.C. – United States District Court Judge, Carl Nichols, has sentenced Steve Bannon, to serve two concurrent federal prison terms and also pay a fine of $6,500. The sentence comes from Bannon refusing to testify during the committee investigation of the Jan 6, 2021 riots in the U.S. capital.
