The A.T.L. Alphabetical Runway: 8 Days, 15 Candidates, Bi-Partisan Facts

Your Non-Partisan Guide to the 2026 Georgia Gubernatorial Field

The wait is over. Today, A.T.L. N.E.W.S. officially launches our most ambitious voter-education project to date. With early voting already in full swing (April 27 – May 15) and only 15 days remaining until the May 19th Primary, we are providing the roadmap Georgia voters need.

Starting today, we begin an 8-day deep dive into the 15 qualified gubernatorial candidates. This is a dedicated, bi-partisan effort to move past the soundbites and examine the structural future of our state through the three pillars of our community: Art, Trade, and Lifestyle.

To ensure total objectivity and fairness, we are profiling every candidate in alphabetical order. Each day, we will pair one Republican and one Democrat side-by-side, giving you a balanced view of the field regardless of polling or party status.

The Format: Bi-Partisan. Balanced. Brief.

  • 8 Days: A high-speed runway leading directly to the close of early voting.
  • 15 Candidates: No one is left out. Every qualified voice is analyzed.
  • Side-by-Side: We pair the parties daily to highlight the different approaches to the same issues.
  • Alphabetical Order: A strict, non-preferential sequence from start to finish.

Since the campaigns have remained silent on our direct “A.T.L. Agenda” inquiries, our Bureau has stepped in. We’ve analyzed the platforms, scrutinized the records, and prepared the profiles. It’s time for the Runway to begin.

Day 1: Chris Car and Olu Brown
