Doesn’t know one album from the other

Lil Wayne is considered to be one of the best to have ever held the mic. He has multiple platinum albums and sells out concerts with eager fans wanting to hear him breathe on the mic.

But Dewayne Carter has recently opened up to share the painful truths of his alter ego, Lil Wayne, and how it has been affecting his career. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Carter shared how memory loss has been affecting him and doesn’t know one album from the other, “I don’t know ‘Tha Carter III,’ ‘Tha Carter II,’ ‘Tha Carter One’ from ‘Tha Carter IV.”

Carter also suffers from epilepsy and experiences frequent seizures that he is currently working on properly managing with the help of others.

Despite not being able to remember any of his songs, Carter shared that he doesn’t plan on retiring anytime soon. He looks at his current condition as a blessing and a curse, “And also, I always look at it as the curse part of the gift and the curse. I believe that (God) blessed me with this amazing mind, but would not give (me) an amazing memory to remember this amazing s—.”
