National Operations

The National Hub | Downtown Atlanta

  • Location: Downtown Atlanta, Georgia
  • Role: The platform’s central newsroom and operational command. This hub coordinates nationwide reporting standards and facilitates the “Hub-and-Spoke” distribution for our entire regional network.

Regional Headquarters (N.E.W.S.)

Each regional headquarters serves as the individual state bureau for its home state and the strategic anchor for its territory.

[N] The North Bureau | Minnesota

  • Regional Anchor: St. Paul
  • Territory: IA, ND, SD, NE, WI, IL, MO, KS, MI, IN, OH
  • Focus: Foocusing on neighborhood resilience, the revitalization of historic commercial corridors, and the evolving transit and logistics infrastructure.

[E] The Eastern Bureau | Pennsylvania

  • Regional Anchor: Philadelphia
  • Territory: WV, VA, MD, DE, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, VT, NH, ME, DC
  • Focus: Prioritizing economic equity, small business transparency, and the dense community narratives of the Northeast Atlantic corridor.

[W] The Western Bureau | California

  • Regional Anchor: San Francisco
  • Territory: WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, CO, AZ, NM, AK, HI
  • Focus: Documenting the intersection of innovation and community from the Bay Area tech corridors to the frontier landscapes of the Rockies.

[S] The Southern Bureau | Georgia

  • Regional Anchor: Downtown Atlanta
  • Territory: FL, AL, MS, TN, AR, LA, OK, TX
  • Focus: Bridging the gap between the rapid urban evolution of the Gulf Coast and the deep-seated cultural and industrial narratives of the Deep South.

State Operations

North Carolina (Inaugural Individual State Bureau)

  • State Anchor: Asheville / Charlotte
  • Status: Our first dedicated state-specific operation. Serving as the prototype for our “State-by-State” initiative, this bureau captures the independent spirit of the Tar Heel State.
