If companies merge they could create the 3rd largest automaker in sales
Honda and Nissan were already working together to improve their electronic components for electric vehicles. Now they both are possibly taking a step forward by operating under a holding company. This merger would also include Mitsubishi. With all three carmakers combine this would make the combine units the third biggest automaker in sales. Following behind Toyota and Volkswagen.
