Why California is Still Heading to Court
BEVERLY HILLS – A sudden settlement between the U.S. Department of Justice and Beverly Hills-based Live Nation Entertainment has sent shockwaves through the industry. While federal officials reached an agreement to end their portion of the landmark antitrust trial, the battle for California consumers is just beginning.
Attorney General Rob Bonta has officially rejected the federal deal. He is now leading a bipartisan coalition of 27 states to continue legal action against the entertainment giant independently.
