India attacks Pakistan and retaliation is expected

Nuclear powers continue tit for tat, leaving many to wonder if a larger conflict is on the forefront.

Peshawar, Pakistan – Early Wednesday morning, India launched a missile attack on its immediate neighbor and long-time rival, Pakistan.

The attack comes just two weeks after Pakistan attacked the Himalayan region of Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 people touring the area. Now both countries are at even greater odds with one another as the region awaits what’s next between the two nations.

Both countries have been at odds since 1947 when they gained their independence from Great Britain. Since then, India has been accusing Pakistan of supporting terrorism in the area, while Pakistan has repeatedly denied these claims.
