LiAngelo Ball signs a $13m recording contract with Def Jam Recordings

Some of the NBA’s best also had careers as Hip Hop artists: Kobe Bryant, Allen Iverson, Shaquille Oneil, Chris Webber and more… A lot more. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that former ball player, LiAngelo Ball, is pursuing a musical career of his own.

What maybe surprising to some is that Ball has secured a $13 million recording contract with the biggest and most legendary Hip Hop recording label ever, Def Jam Recordings. Sources are reporting since the release of Ball’s viral track, “Tweaker,” he has grab the attention of many of his former NBA counterparts and is receiving recognition for his musical talents.

$8 million of Ball’s $13 million contract is guaranteed, and he will be able to maintain full ownership of his music and record label.
