A younger Jeff Bezos shares a funny story about Amazon’s beginnings

The year was 1995 and entrepreneur Jeff Bezos was on the heels of starting something new, Amazon. An online bookstore that was taking advantage of a new thing called the world wide web.

In this video, Bezos appears to be a guest speaker in a college class and he shares with them his beginnings as an entrepreneur starting Amazon; now currently worth over $900 billion. He tells a story of a book order that he received from Bulgaria and its disguised form of payment that was used to hide the money from customs.

In 1995, Jeff Bezos spoke about customers mailing cash to Amazon for book purchases.
