Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands fires Attorney General after her allegations of connections between Jeffery Epstein and J.P. Morgan

Little Saint James, Virgin Islands – Denise George, the Attorney General for the Virgin Islands for the past four years has been fired by Governor Albert Bryan.

George has been investigating the sex trafficking schemes of Jeffery Epstein in the Virgin Islands and has recently tied J.P. Morgan Chase to them. Bruce filed a federal lawsuit against J.P. Morgan Chase, alleging that J.P. Morgan Chase was aware of Epstein’s trafficking activities and did nothing to stop it.

In George’s lawsuit, she accuses the bank of covering up Epstein’s crimes for 10 years, “turned a blind eye because of the deals and clients that Epstein brought and promised to bring to the bank.”

Outlets such as ABC News have reported that U.S. Virgin Islands Governor, Albert Bryan, fired George just days after she filed the lawsuit on J.P. Morgan Chase without giving any specific reason why. “Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. did not provide a reason for relieving George of her duties in a statement Sunday, saying only that she would be replaced by Assistant Attorney General Carol Thomas-Jacobs.”

The Virgin Islands Consortium reported that Governor Bryan and Bruce have previously been experiencing a rocky relationship before Bruce’s suit. Governor Bryan was upset that Bruce did not consult with him first before filing the suit and had enough, “People familiar with the situation said Mr. Bryan had been frustrated with Ms. George for some time and that her action against the bank was the final straw.”

Jeffery Epstein committed suicide in 2019 while in federal custody awaiting trial for various sexual accusations that included sex trafficking of minors.
