South Korean Halloween celebration turns deadly
A reported 154 people dead
Seoul, South Korea – South Korea’s president, Yoon Suk-Yeol, declares a day of national mourning after Saturday’s deadly stampede at a Halloween celebration that killed 154 people. Suk-Yeol has been quoted as saying, “This is tragic. A tragedy and a disaster that should not have happened took place in the heart of Seoul last night.”
Of the 154 people killed, 19 were foreign nationals, and two of those were Americans.
